ICC 24 – International Certificate of Competence (up to 24m)

If you’re looking to skipper a motor cruising yacht up to 24 metres, the ICC 24 is the license recognised across Europe and beyond. It’s often a legal requirement for operating larger vessels abroad, and it demonstrates that you have the knowledge and skills to skipper safely and responsibly.

At Palma Powerboat Training, we provide comprehensive training and assessment to prepare you for your ICC. Our experienced instructors will guide you through:

  •  Boat handling & manoeuvres – including docking, anchoring, and close-quarters control
  •  Navigation & passage planning – chart work, pilotage, and use of GPS & electronic aids
  • Rules of the road – international collision regulations (COLREGs)
  •  Safety at sea – emergency procedures, seamanship, and crew management
